Mr. Carpenter died at 1:20 P.M. Saturday (Nov. 21, 1970) in Barnesville General Hospital after a long illness.
A retired warehouse worker for the Pomoc Co., he was born March 27, 1902, in Monroe County, a son of John and Margaret Miller Carpenter. He was a member of Eagles Lodge.
He leaves one son, Neil Carpenter, Lemon Grove, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Darlene) Long, Barnesville; one sister, Mrs. Ora Johnson, Barnesville; one brother, Everett Carpenter, Barnsville R. D. 1; and eight grandchildren.
His wife, Mona Carpenter 95866689, died in 1960. Monday 23 Nov. 1970 Jeffersonian.
