BARNESVILLE---Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday in Campbell-Plumby Funeral Home for Raymond L. (Red)Carpenter, 68, 220 Hunts Ave.
The Rev. Arthur Williams will officiate and burial will be in the Church of the Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 to 9 P.M. today (Monday) and after 9 A.M. tomorrow.
Mr. Carpenter died at 1:20 P.M. Saturday (Nov. 21, 1970) in Barnesville General Hospital after a long illness.
A retired warehouse worker for the Pomoc Co., he was born March 27, 1902, in Monroe County, a son of John and Margaret Miller Carpenter. He was a member of Eagles Lodge.
He leaves one son, Neil Carpenter, Lemon Grove, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Darlene) Long, Barnesville; one sister, Mrs. Ora Johnson, Barnesville; one brother, Everett Carpenter, Barnsville R. D. 1; and eight grandchildren.
His wife, Mona Carpenter 95866689, died in 1960. Monday 23 Nov. 1970 Jeffersonian.
