Sarah Quinn was born in Porter County, Indiana, March 8, 1851. She obeyed the Gospel in 1870. In 1878, she moved to Fairbury, Nebraska after she was married to John Thomas Conner, February 8, 1876. The family came to Stratton in 1903 where she died, March 16, 1928, at the age of 77 years and 8 days.
She was preceded to her reward by her husband, John Thomas Conner and her son Wilford. The other children living are Robert Mason, and John of McDonald, Kansas. Lulu (Burks) of Stratton. Chas. Franklin, Modesto, California; Haze, Roy Merritt, and Paul of Denver, Colorado.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Stratton, Monday of this week. Conducted by Rev. Terry of Wauneta at 1:30 pm and the remains laid to rest in the Rose Hill cemetery. – Stratton News.
