Genavee Anderson, 59, of Ripley, died Tuesday at the CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, following a short illness. She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Everett and Mary Parsons Stewart. She was a housewife and a member of the West Ripley Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Everett Anderson, David Anderson, Terry Anderson and James Anderson, all of Ripley; five daughters, Bernice Casto of Ripley, Sharon Abbott of Clendenin, Charlotte Holmes of El Paso, Texas, Mary Ann Anderson of Ripley and Dorothy Frazier of Ravenswood; four brothers, Glenver Stewart and Vernon Stewart, both of Orlando, Fla., Ohley Stewart of Ripley and Rev. R. A. Stewart of Belington, W.Va.; one sister, Cora Bourgeois of Ripley; 15 grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, Ripley, with the Rev. Eddie Henson officiating. Burial was in King Hill Cemetery, Ripley.
