Harriet L. Arven, Oct. 18, 1923 - Jan. 19, 2002, Harriet L. ARVEN, 78, Fulton, died at 9:35 p.m. Saturday at Life Care Center, Rochester. Born in New Waverly to Walter and Melinda Jane LEEDY SUTTON, she married Claude D. ARVEN April 2, 1977 in Fulton. He survives. Mrs. Arven, a homemaker, was a member of Fulton United Methodist Church, where she was active in women's activities. Surviving with her husband, at home, are two nieces, Linda Jane RAY, Peru, Connie LEHMAN and husband David, Theodore, Ala.; two nephews, Robert L. MUSGRAVE and wife Judy, Peru, Jack L. NICKELS and wife Marian, Bartonville, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Dean ARVEN and wife Nornetta, Logansport; several great nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were her parents, one sister, Ella MUSGRAVE, and one brother, Robert SUTTON. Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Fulton, with Rev. George HAPNER officiating. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery, Fulton. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Fulton United Methodist Church or to one's favorite charity.
