George Allen David was the son of Daniel and Cora David. He grew up in Cheyenne and Fort Collins, graduating from Fort Collins High School. George married Elvira Marie Dinkel at St. Joseph Church in Fort Collins. Together they had three daughters and two sons. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served in the Wyoming National Guard and was a long-time and active member of St. Joseph parish.
