Lorena attended local schools and graduated from Marinette High School with the Class of 1938.
On January 3, 1942, she married her high school classmate, Donald R. Boneham, and spent 68 years of married life together. They resided in Marinette until 1983 when they moved to Pembine, Wis., where they lived for 22 years before returning to Marinette in 2005. After many years as a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marinette, she became a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pembine.
Lorena is survived by her three children: Mary Cain of DePere, Wis., James and Rosemary Boneham of Marinette and Paul and Pamela Boneham of Kenilworth, Ill.; nine grandchildren: Dr. Todd Gould of DePere, Dr. Perry Gould of Fox Point, Wis., Laura Gould of Golden Valley, Minn., Sarah Seiler of Wauwatosa, Wis., Gina Wood of Mountain, Wis., Amy Battle of Mountain, Wis., Jennifer Brown of Mequon, Wis., Caroline Roche of Chicago, Ill. and Nora Boneham also of Chicago; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Marge Williams and Marilyn Gould, both of Marinette and Judy Wendel of Menomonee Falls, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; and five brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette on Thursday, June 4, 2015, from 3 until 4 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Marinette.
