Misses Theresa and Catherine Eppes delightfully entertained a few couples with a dance at their home in South Austin Sacurday evening Dancing by Victrola music was enjoyed, and a dainty ice course served to the following guests present:

Tackey Party.

Misses Catherine and Thresa Eppes, delightfully entertained a few friends at their home in South Austin Friday evening with a tacky party. Dancing proved the diversion of the evening. Cut flowers were used in the house decorations and an ice course in pink and white was carried out. Mrs. E. L. Blum and Miss Jewel Sturdivant won the prizes for the tackiest ladies present while the gentlemen's prize went to Burnham Fallwell.

For Bride-to-Be.


Miss Catherine Eppes, was named honoree at a pretty party given at the telephone building Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. Twenty-five friends were present and the honoree was the recipient of many beautiful gifts.


Miss Hettie Mangelsdorf made the speech of presentation. Miss Eppes will be married late in June to Orin S. Hamilton of Houston.

A burning mattress sent firemen to the home of Mrs. Catherine Hamilton, 905 Dawson Road, early

Monday.


The mattress was a total loss, but there were no injuries, firemen reported. Cause of the blaze was undetermined, they reported The alarm was received at 1:41 a. m.


In October 1959 Catherine was living in/near Austin, Texas.
