Funeral services for Lillie Ethel Harper Bowen Finch were held 1:00 PM Sunday at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Oak Grove, LA with Rev. Eugene Haley, Bobby Kovac, Rita Smith, Marilyn Ruffin, and Debbie Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, LA.

Lillie Ethel Harper Bowen Finch was born on June 22, 1911 in D'Lo, MS, and went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 31, 2009 in Englewood, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Ernest Finch; two sons, Jimmy Edward Bowen and Donovan B. Finch; parents, Luther F. and Mary Fails Harper; eight sisters, Mattie Belle Harper, Maude Lucille Harper, Molly Harper, Polly Harper, Mary Louise Moses, Mildred Cristel McDaniel, Myrtis Mae Passons, and Tiny Ruth Russell; and four brothers, Bradford Forrest Harper, Leonard Lee Harper, Curtis Eugene Harper, and Riley Burnett Harper.

Survivors include her two daughters, Ethelyn Prine and husband, Lavelle of Dayton, Ohio; and Marilyn Chandler and husband, Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter-in-law, Marie Finch of Leesville, LA; three sisters, Faye Nell Barnes and husband, James of Oak Grove; Irene Faye Bedenbender and husband, Melvin of Oak Grove; and Alene Mae Ward of Mary Esther, FL; three brothers, Leo Forrest Harper and wife, Mildred of Kilbourne, LA; Emmett Doyle Harper of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and John Robert and wife, Bobbie Jo of Flowery Branch, GA; five sisters-in-law, Annie Harper of TX; Cloteal Harper of Oak Grove; Ernie Mae Harper of Oak Grove; Jenny Harper of Oak Grove; and Pauline Hynard of Longview, TX; brother-in-law, Robert Finch and wife, Elise of Monroe, LA; Eleven Grandchildren; Eighteen Great-Grandchildren; and One Great-Great-Granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Pallbearers were Grover Smith, Norman Janes, Michael Prine, Paul Prine, Phillip Chandler, Ernest Finch, Anthony, Harper, and Dennis Castle.
