Mildred Christell McDaniel, 86, of Panama City, passed away Friday, August 10, 2007, in a local nursing facility. She was born in D'Lo, MS to Luther and Francis Harper, one of fifteen children, eight daughters and seven sons, and moved here in 1987 from Greenville, MS. Ms. McDaniel was a member of Gulf Beach Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Rance McDaniel, in 1976.

Survivors include her three sons, Raymond Gerald McDaniel of San Antonio, TX, and his children, Sean, Michelle, and Kelly of Denver, CO, Van Robin McDaniel and wife, Tammy, and their children, Van and Sam, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Orion Kevin McDaniel and wife, Patty, and their children, Ali, Christian, and Thomas, of Panama City Beach, FL.

Funeral Services for Ms. McDaniel will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the Gulf Beach Baptist Church with Rev. Gregory George officiating. Burial will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery.
