Services for Frances M. (Bixler) Beech, 93, of Chardon Township, a retired housekeeper, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6), Chardon Village.

Mrs. Beech died July 27, 1999, at Geauge Regional Hospital.

Born June 4, 1906, in Painesville, she lived in Concord Township before moving to the Chardon area in 1994.

She and her husband, Robert, enjoyed camping for over 20 years at Camp Hide-a-way Lakes in Ashtabula and Camp Kenisee's Grand River Camp in Geneva.

Mrs. Beech was employed by Lake Erie College for 18 years, retiring in 1973. She had also worked for the former S. S. Kresge Department Store in Painesville.

Survivors are her husband, Robert W., whom she married April 11, 1928, and sister, Alyce Stranger of Bedford.

Her parents, Andrew and Hanna (Ahlstrom) Bixler and brothers, Clarence, Alvin and Arthur Bixler, are deceased.

Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Elder William Lawrence of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Kirtland will officiate. Interment, Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
