MRS. ELIZA ADAMS LAID TO REST AT LOCAL CEMETERY

Services Held At Christ Episcopal Church This Morning


Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza Mottley Adams, who died Saturday evening at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her son, Mottley Adams, at 1120 Magnolia avenue, were held this morning t 10:30 o'clock at Christ Episcopal Church. The Rev. C.G. Leavell, rector of the church, had charge of the services. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery.

The pallbearers were: Wells Covington, Byron Renfrew, Max B. Nahm, Will J. Potter, Porter Hines, George Love, Lucius Squire and H. St. G. T. Carmichael.

Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Col. Erasmus Mottley and Mrs. Ann Hawkins Mottley and was born in Bowling Green,

She was married to Ely Adams on February 29, 1892. She is survived by two sons who are John and Mottley Adams, both of this city.

RITES SET FOR MONDAY

Bowling Green, Ky., Jan. 10. - Mrs. Lite Mottley Adams, 54 years old, widow of Ely H. Adams, died at 6:30 o'clock tonight at 1120 Magnolia Avenue. Mrs. Adams was born in Bowling Green and was a daughter of the late Col. Erasmus L. Mottley and Mrs. Anna Hawkins Mottley. She is survived by two sons, John M. and Mottley Adams; a sister, Mrs. Duncan Milliken, all of Bowling Green, and a brother, Percival Mottley, of Louisville. Mrs. Adams was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, a charter member of the Current Topic Club, which was organized thirty-five years ago, and of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning at Christ Church by the Rev. Charles E. Leavell, pastor. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
