MRS. ANNA E. H. MOTLEY.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky., Nov. 15. - (Special.) - Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Hawkins Motley, widow of Colonel Erasmus L. Motley, died Friday at her home here. Mrs. Motley was born in this city October 1, 1842, and was a daughter of Colonel P.B. Hawkins and Mrs. Jane Hawkins, both of whom are dead. She was married to Colonel Motley January 12, 1865, who died January 9, 1918. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary January 12, 1915, and she had lived in the same house for nearly fifty-four years. To this union two sons were born, Charles P. Motley of Camloops, British Columbia and Percival J. Motley, and two daughters, Mrs. Ely H. Adams and Mrs. G. Duncan Milliken, the latter of whom is the wife of County Attorney Milliken of this city. Mrs. Motley was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a charter member of the Current Topic Club and was a former president of this club.
