Charles Marotte, 620 South Main Street, died at the Colonial Test Home this morning at the age of seventy-nine years. Mr. Marotte, a retired shoeworker, is survived by his wife, Bertha Marotte, nee Buhrmeister; a sister, Mrs. Kate Weigan of Illinois; two brothers, Anton of California and Otto of Denver, Colorado.The body will be in state at the Arthur C. Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street, until Friday noon when it will be taken to the St. John's E and R Church for services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
