KATHERINE L. WAIGAND, AGE 83, OF OLNEY, DIES THIS MORNING. Mrs.Katherine L. Waigand, 83, of 233 West North Avenue, and longtime resident of Olney, died early this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since January 23rd. Mrs. Waigand was born in Case, Missouri, on September 9, 1884, daughter of the late Nicholas and Theresa Martschinsky Marotte. She was a member of the Christian Science Church. Surviving are five children, Edward C. Waigand, Miss Delores Waigand and Mrs. Lillian Gillaspie, all of Olney, Mrs. Ellinor Depper and Mrs. Louise Russell, both of Belleville; ten grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Edward Waigand, Sr., died Oct. 25, 1941. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister. The body is at the Schaub Funeral Home,
