Never finished Greeley high school but was naturally intelligent; wrote poems; played piano by ear, loved to sing, harmonize and dance, taught dancing, enjoyed tap and belly dancing too, owner, receptionist, business partner and wife of Charles Boyd Slough, 'Charles Hairstyist Beauty Salon'in San Diego, she was hair model of Chod in competition shows, Office manager of Barney & Barney Insurance Agency & Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., San Diego, V-Pres. of San Diego Business Women's Association 1963, President of San Diego Chapter Life Insurance Cashiers Association of the U.S. & Canada. President of council of Women's Service & Business Clubs of San Diego, California, She took pride & loved her many homes and Hawaiian Condos, remodeling & decorating all of them with a natural talented flare, could take out a wall or fix a broken toaster, took on the banks to get her own 'credit card' and 'home loan' as a single mother in the late 1950's. A woman before her time with many natural acquired talents. Drove with a lead foot, enjoyed fancy shoes and being a lady.
