Beulah E. Dye Services Held Sunday

Beulah E. Feltman Dye, daughter of the late Frederick and Henrietta Morrison Feltman was born near Etna in Scotland County, Missouri, on June 11, 1886, and passed away May 19, 1960 at the Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital in Kirksville after an illness of three weeks, being 73 years, 11 months, and 8 days of age.

On April 11, 1906, she was united in marriage to Grover Dye and to this union one son, William Clark, was born. In 1956, Mr. and Mrs. Dye celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her sister, Mrs. Bessie Blattner of Wyaconda, Missouri and two brothers, Ed and Clarence Feltman, both of Fort Benton, Montana.

Mrs. Dye was a member of the Methodist Church at Granger, Missouri and was active in community affairs. She was a member of the Hazel Hill Sewing Club which she enjoyed very much.

Mrs. Dye spent her entire life in and near the Etna community.

She is survived by her husband, her son, Clark, and daughter-in-law, Eva, three granddaughters, Arleta, Nadine, and Nancy, all of Arbela, Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Her sympathizing heart and willing hands were always ready to help whenever needed. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church in Arbela, Sunday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend William Davenport officiating, assisted by the Reverend Earl Hesse.

Music was furnished by Mrs. William Davenport, Mrs. Leland Dannenhauer, and Mrs. Jack Montgomery with Mrs. Earl Drake at the piano.

Flower attendants were Misses Lilly and Carol Rockhold and Charlotte and Vonda Kraus.

Body bearers were Rudolph Dieterich, Harry Callihan, Willard Mohr, Alva Sears, Noah Rockhold, and Karl Jr. Kraus.

Interment was in the Etna Cemetery.
