Lucille A. "Gladys" Hedrick, 83 of Buckner, MO, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2003 at her home. Visitation will be Monday July 21, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Speaks Buckner Chapel. Services will be Tuesday, July 22, at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Gladys was born June 2, 1920 in Levassy, MO to Walter and Estella Allison. Mrs. Hedrick worked as a Fletcher at Woodcraft Equipment Company, retiring in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. "Ned" Hedrick. Mrs Hedrick is survived by her son, Vincent Hedrick (Judy) of Buckner, MO; daughters, Shirley Jones of Kimberling City, MO and Janice Abring (John) of Sibley, MO; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and seven great-greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Margaret Winfrey, of Lexington, MO; sisters-in-law Peggy Stahl of Lee's Summit, MO and Grace Bradshaw of Independence MO and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
