Aris Hersberger Obituary
Aris (Dale) Hersberger, 69, formerly of Anderson, died Friday in Phoenix, Ariz., where he had resided for the past four years. A longtime county resident, he was born near Lapel, March 16, 1898, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Hersberger. He was a private milk dealer in this area for many years. He was a member of the Butlerville Masonic Lodge where he was past master.
Survivors include the widow, Elizabeth; four daughters, Mrs. Bill (Vivian) Williams of Lapel, Mrs. Ed (Virginia) Dillie and Mrs. living Spearman, both of Anderson and Mrs. living Henley of Clearwater, Fla.; three sons, Keith Hersberger of Lapel, Kenneth Hersberger of Sheridan and Dale Hersberger, Jr., Anderson; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Newton of Muncie and Mrs. Mabel Rambo of Lapel; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at Phoenix, Ariz.

His first marriage was to Sharley Stottlemyer on Aug 22, 1916 in Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana They divorced on June 13, 1941 in Anderson, Madison County, Indiana. He married Elizabeth Vail Ashby on June 21, 1941 in Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana.
