She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She retired from the Arapahoe/Douglas County Vocational High School in Englewood, CO, and received the Top Educator award in Early Childhood Development for the State of Colorado.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Rhea Horton of Monticello; sons, Kenneth Rae Horton of Monticello and John Clarence Horton of Denver, CO; granddaughter, Juniper Horton of Denver, CO; and brother, John Leon Tuggle of Monticello.
June was a very special lady.
