Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Evangelical Church of North America in Moville. The Rev. Vernon Aarnes will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in McCulloch - Wavrin Funeral Home in Moville.
Mrs. Blackford, the former Edith REYNOLDS, was born 30 May 1907, in Moville and attended Moville High School. She married Charles BLACKFORD 18 September 1926 in Sioux City. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Blackford was a member of the Evangelical Church of North America.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry BLACKFORD of Moville and Everett BLACKFORD of Brandon, Fla.; a stepson, Marvin BLACKFORD of Sergeant Bluff; 1 stepdaughter, Mrs. Dewey (Margaret) TOMLINSON of Kingsley; 2 sisters. Mrs. Earl (Geneva) CARTWRIGHT of Kansas City, Kan.; and Daisy NORTON of Council Bluffs; 4 grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren and several step great-grandchildren.
