Ethel Mayhew Isenhour,
94, of Mooresville, died
Thursday, March 31, 2005, at
Lake Norman Regional Medical
Center.
Born Oct. 8, 1910, in Mecklenburg
County, she was a
daughter of the late Tollie
Chalmers and Lula Jane
Blackwelder Mayhew. Mrs.
Isenhour was a retired employee
of Burlington Industries,
Mooresville. She was a
member of Mooresville Associate
Reformed Presbyterian
Church. She was Mrs.
Genesis Eldercare 2003 and
was an active member of the
Mooresville Senior Citizens
Club.
Mrs. Isenhour was preceded
in death by husbands,
Haywood P. Howard and
Allen Isenhour; brother, Marvin
Mayhew; and sister,
Beatrice Rosser.
She is survived by children,
Martha H. Bumgarner and
Melvin P. Howard of Mooresville;
brothers, Rodney and
Worth Mayhew of Mooresville;
sisters, Clara White of
Kannapolis, Ruth Furtick of
Cramerton, Bertha Eddings of
Mooresville, and Margaret
Campbell of Gastonia; grandchildren,
Michelle T. Mack of
Mooresville, T. Scott Howard
of Mooresville, Tony R. Tousignant
of Mt. Pleasant, and
Chad P. Howard of Huntersville;
and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2
p.m., Saturday, April 2, at the
Mooresville ARP Church, with
Rev. Gerald R. Hallman officiating
assisted by Rev. Kenneth
Looney. Burial will follow in
Glenwood Memorial Park,
Mooresville.
The family will receive
friends from 7-9 p.m. today,
Friday, April 1, at Cavin-Cook
Funeral Home, Mooresville.
