Dale M. Schussler was formerly with WKWK radio for seven years and retired after 31 years as a news broadcaster for WTRF TV Channel 7 News. Dale was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School in 1940 and Heidelberg College of Tiffin in 1948.

He was an elder and Sunday school teacher of the Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain; a member of the Wheeling Lions Club, W. Va.; Independence Hall Board of Directors; and Colerain Senior Citizens Center where he was past president. Dale was also a collector of MG sports cars and a veteran of the U.S. Army World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn C. Cockley Schussler; a daughter, Christine Schrickel and her husband Gary of St. Clairsville; a son, Frederick D. Schussler of Akron; a brother, James F. Schussler and his wife, Sarah Lou of Ashland; nine grandchildren, Brain and Brady Schrickel, Ben, Andy, Caleb, Timothy, Jacob, Charlie and Rachel Schussler.
