He was born April 20, 1932 in Galesburg the son of Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Jones Admire.
Franklin is survived by a special friend Kate Mahnesmith of Galesburg and a brother, Wallace "Ted" Admire of Clearwater, Fla., a niece and three nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War.
He worked for the former Maytag Corporation. He later worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. He last worked for Mid America Company as a driver. Frank had given to several charities in his lifetime.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Monday, March 28, 2011 in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites by Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285. Rev. Doug Sopher will officiate.
