OLIVE B. ANDRY
Olive B. Andry, 83, Birdseye, died at 3:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at Huntingburg Convalescent Center.
A native of Crawford County, born Dec. 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Lionel C. and Cora J. Newton Cook. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Verner M. Andry Sr., two brothers, Howard and Russell Cook, a sister, Virginia Eckert, and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Andry of Jasper and Verner Andry Jr. of Huntingburg; a daughter, Margaret Huff of Jasper; a brother, Pervil Cook of Huntingburg; three sisters, Melva Choate of Huntingburg, and Bernice Oxley and Norma Andry, both of Birdseye; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Thursday at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial in Mentor Cemetery near Birdseye. The Revs. Richard Thorndell and James Davis officiated.
