She was born in Harrison township, Elkhart county, west of Goshen, and was the daughter of George and Martha Michael. Her first marriage was to Harvey Brown and after his death she was married to Daniel Stahly of Nappanee. Mr Stahly preceded her in death, April 30, 1931.
She is survived by two children, Warren Brown of Wakarusa, and Mrs C E Harris of Wheaton, Ill, three sisters, Mrs Solomon Yoder of Nappanee, Mrs Jonathan Yoder of northwest of near Goshen; three brothers, Ab Michael, of Nappanee, Charles Michael of near Goshen, and Aaron Michael of Placerville, Calif, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Yoder home at 1:30 and at the First Evangelical church at 2 o'clock with the Rev R J Burns officiating. On Sunday morning the body was taken to South Lebanon, Ohio, for burial, accompanied by the immediate family, including the son, Warren Brown of Wakarusa, and the daughter, Mrs C E Harris of Wheaton, Ill. Burial will be beside the grave of her husband, the Rev H W Brown.
