John P Michael, who lived 2 miles east and 2 1/2 miles north of Wakarusa and who built the fine stucco home on East Waterford street, died at eleven o'clock Tuesday night.

Mr Michael, had gone to Goshen Tuesday morning in a wagon to get a furnace for his new home and when about 3 miles this side of Goshen got a dizzy spell, which he was subject to, and fell from his wagon striking on the back of his head causing concussion of the brain. The team walked on until a piece of casting fell of and scared them and they started to run. Neighbors in the vicinity stopped the horsed and looking down the road saw Mr Michael. He was carried to the Gorsuch home and Dr Wagner of this placed called.

Mr Michael was born in Elkhart county 60 years ago. He was one of the well-to-do farmers of this section. He had advertised a sale for Dec 10, and expected to move in his new residence here.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning, meeting at the home at 9:30. Burial at Yellow Creek.
