Broderick, 63, of 3005 Sigel Court,
Dumfries died June 9, 1990, at
Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge,
where she had been a patient for two
weeks.
She was born July 27, 1926, in
Dante and was the daughter of the
late James and Bessie Bush Rudder.
She had lived in Dumfries for the
past two years, having moved there
from Woodbridge. She retired from
the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in
St. Marys, Ohio, where she lived for
22 years. She was a member of
Christ Chapel in Dale City and the
Rebekah Lodge Mount Vision No. 1
in Occoquan.
She is survived by three sons, Edwin
Miller Jr. of Port Republic,
Charles Miller of Dumfries and
David Miller of Wilmington, N.C.; a
daughter, Gloria Jean Hollandsworth
of St. Marys, Ohio; three
brothers, Roy Rudder of Oregon,
Frank Rudder of Martin, Ky., and
Earl Rudder of Woodbridge; two
sisters, Wanda Lee Gregory of Martin,
Ky., and Margie Strawderman
of Culpeper; seven grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.
The Rebekah Lodge will conduct
funeral rites at 7 p.m. today at the
Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home
in Harrisonburg. Afterward, the
family will receive friends until 9
p.m.
The Rev. William Robert will conduct
the funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday
at the Kyger & Trobaugh
Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
Burial will be in the Rest Haven
Cemetery near Harrisonburg.

Elizabeth was raised in Ohio. She and her siblings were placed in a orphanage when her mother died. All the kids were separated.
