NORFOLK - Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Herring Chick, 63, od 2205 St. Denis Ave., the widow of Edward St. Clakr Chick, died Saturday night in a hospital after illness of three weeks.

She worked in the auditing and accounting department of the Virginian-Pilot and Ledger Star. She worked for the company 18 years.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of William C. and Mrs. Zora White Herring.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Westminster Eastern Star Chapter 99.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Wilbur J. McCoy, and two brothers, Albert T. Herring and Edward S. Herring, all of Norfolk, and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Smith & Williams Funeral Home by Dr. Walker N. Stockburger of Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.

The family will assemble at 2807 Keller Ave.
