Irleen M. Bartley Ekart, 90, Laconia, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011.
Born April 2, 1920, in Laconia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Nettie Ludlow Bartley.
She graduated from Laconia High School, worked for 33 years for the United States Postal Service in Laconia and was a member of Union Chapel Christian Church, the Union Chapel Ladies Aide and the Laconia Extension Homemakers Club.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Bartley Watson.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Denzil L. Ekart.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 29, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery near Laconia.
Pallbearers: Scott Bartley, Jay Ekart, Ralph Bliss, Scott Neddler, Rick Withers and Ralph Bradshaw.
Honorary pallbearers: Keith Watson, Randy Hisey and Tim Lillpop.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Union Chapel Cemetery Fund.
