I got started in my family history when my grandmother gave me a copy of a book about the Albins of Harrison County, Indiana several years ago. I only recently found this site and in doing so discovered some of my relatives and also that many were not represented here. That started my work on this site. I am Brown on both my mother and father's sides of the family which has made it interesting at times keeping track of which person belongs to which family when working on this. Other family surnames that I am researching are Albin, Bruce, Henry, Elbert, Greer, Pate and Heishman.
