Obituary from Morgan County Democrat on 4 November 1910:
Mrs. Charity Rouse, aged 73 years, died at her home near Neelyville last Friday, of consumption, and was buried at Ebenezer Sunday. She is survived by her husband, Levi Rouse, and five children— Mrs. Jas. Gray of McConnelsville, Mrs. Chas. Nixon of near Malta, Joseph, Edward and Lizzie Rouse at home.

Obituary from The Weekly Herald on 3 November 1910: Death of Mrs. Rouse
Mrs. Charity Rouse died at her home near Neelyville Friday evening between seven and eight o’clock. Her death came unexpected. She had been ailing all summer, having contracted hay fever which settled on her lungs, but her friends did not realize that the disease had made the progress that it had. The funeral was held at Ebenezer Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. Mr. Reed. The deceased is survived by her husband, Levi rouse, and five children, Mrs. James Gray of McConnelsville being one of her daughters.
