McCONNELSVILLE, O., Aug. 12–Mrs. Emma Nixon, 75, widow of Charles Nixon, whose home is about two miles north of Malta, but for sometime has been at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harley Baxter in Oberlin, fell in the bath tub a few days ago and fractured her hip. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs. C. D. Nixon, of near Malta, is at Oberlin assisting in her care.

RITES WEDNESDAY AT MCCONELSVILLE FOR MRS. EMMA NIXON
McCONNELSVILLE – Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Nixon, 76, of near Oil Spring, will be held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Miller funeral home here. Burial will be in the Malta cemetery.
Mrs. Nixon, widow of Fred L. [Charles] Nixon, died Monday morning at her home following an illness from complications.
She was the daughter of Levi and Charity Scott [Rouse] Nixon and a member of the United Brethren church at Oil Spring.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joy Baxter, of Oberlin; two sons, Fred L. Nixon, of the home, and Charles Oswald Nixon, of near Oil Spring; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Gray, of McConnelsville, and Mrs. Lucy Roush of Neelyville, and two brothers, Edward and Joseph Roush, both of Neelyville.
The body will remain at the funeral home.
