Funeral Services for Mrs. D.P. Barnard

Funeral services for Mrs. D.P. Barnard, 78, who died Sunday after a short illness, were held at 3 p.m. at the Watermelon Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Henry Hodges and the Rev. Willie Barnard. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, D.P. Barnard, Glennville; two daughters, Mrs. Loren Cribbs , Register, and Mrs. Jimmie Lynn, Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Herman and Harold Barnard, both of Glennville; and one brother, Enoch Bath, Glennville; 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Leland Dasher, Bernice Dubberly, Hugh Ray, Wilton Ray, C.J. Kicklighter, and Marcus Stanfield.
