Mary Effie Belford, aged 67 years, mother of Verne Belford of 319 - 14th St. South Lethbridge.
She was a native of Bloomfield, Iowa.
Remains were forwarded by Martin Brothers, to Moose Jaw, for interment.

BELFORD, Mary Effie, passed away at the residence of her son Wednesday, July 21, Mary Effie Belford, age 67 years, beloved mother of Mr. Vern. F. Belford of 319 - 14th. St. S. Lethbridge. The remains were forwarded to Moose Jaw, Sask. on Thursday Evening, interment in the family plot.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Effie Belford, a former resident of the city for a quarter of a century, who passed away on Wednesday last while wisiting her son, Vern F. Belford, at Lethbridge, Alta. was held from Hillcrest United Church at 10: o'clock this (Saturday) morning with Rev. T. H. Sendall officiating. Interment followed at Rosedale Cemetery.
Pall-bearers were Messrs James Clark, J.F. Anderson, G.W. Davey and Ed. Clark.
Arrangements were in the hands of Broadfoot Bros.
