Mrs. Mary H. Stoner, 87, of Mifflin Star Route and formerly of Washington Avenue, Mifflintown, died Sunday, February 5 at Locust Grove Retirement Village.
Born May 29, 1896 in Beale Township, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Gingrich Swartz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Stoner on April 13, 1968.
Mrs. Stoner is survived by one son, Dr. Robert Stoner of Lancaster and four grandsons.
She was a retired school teacher and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Guss Funeral Home with the Rev. Claude R. Baublitz officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
