Mrs. Frank Lockhart
Mrs. Stella Lockhart, 1212 Oakwood Ave., wife of Frank Lockhart, died this morning at 9 at City Hospital, after a three-week illness. She was 71.
A native of Parkersburg, Mrs. Lockhart was born April 21, 1893 toJohn William Sams and Sarah Markley Sams, and resided in this vicinity about 45 years.
In addition to her husband, she leaves five daughters, Mrs. Williard Hazel Leona Lockhart Smith) and Mrs. Lloyd Opal Bernice Lockhart Claus, both of Salem, Mrs. Paul (Lenora) Sosa of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Delmar (Lura) Logston of Chester and Miss Luella Lockhart at home; six sons, Charles Lockhart, William Lockhart, Carl Lockhart, Robert Lockhart and Herbert Lockhart, all of East Liverpool, and Lloyd Lockhart of Hammondsville; a half-brother, Charles Blake of Columbus, and 36 grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the East Liverpool Arner Home for Funerals by the Rev. Albert Rodenhausen, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and Thursday.
