SALEM - Opal B. Claus, 79, of Salem, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2000, at home.
She was born in Antioch, Ohio, Aug 18, 1920, a daughter of the late Franklin Lockhart and Stella Sams Lockhart.
She was employed at Day Lite Cleaners Service and was Protestant.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd L. Claus; two daughters, Bonnie Claus of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Connie Wright McIntosh of Lake Milton; two sisters, Lenora Wolf of San Jose, Calif., and Lura Jean Logston of Richland, W.Va., a brother, Herbert Lockhart of East Liverpool; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The Rev. Jack Austin will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Stark Memorial. Burial will be in Highland Memorial.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
