Andrea Esponge Toups, 81, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Clovis J. Toups; two stepsons, Jimmy and Robert Toups; two stepdaughters, Beverly T. Cheramie and Carol T. Cheramie; six brothers, Linwood, Ramise, George, Ernest, Clifton Sr. and Robinson Esponge; two sisters, Gladys E. Tauzin and Lolita E. Gisclair; 11 step-grandchildren; and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Celima Guidry Esponge; two brothers, Gustave Jr. and Clannis Esponge; one sister, Lena Esponge; and one step-grandchild.
She was Catholic.
