Silas M. Andrews, aged 83, died at his home on the Sheakleyville Road, Conneaut Lake, Friday morning after a lingering illness. He was a member of the Conneaut Lake U.P. Church and the Conneaut Lake I.O.O.F. Besides his widow he is survived by three daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Gibson of Scarsville, NY [Scarsdale -ESH], Mrs. Wilfred Readio of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Robert Ewing of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Edward, of Youngstown, Ohio, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth [should be Isabelle, or as she is sometimes listed, Belle -ESH] Dennis of Meadville and Mrs. Sara Douglas of Portland, Oregon. Friends may call at the residence after 3:00 Saturday. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with interment following in the Watson Run Cemetery.
