A life-long resident of Crawford County, Mrs. Dennis was the daughter of William Wallace Andrews and Elizabeth Boal. She was married to Herbert J. Dennis of Sadsbury Township in 1889, and lived on the Dennis farm near Conneaut Lake for many years. For the past 28 years, Mrs. Dennis had been a Meadville resident.
She was a member of the Unitarian Church and the Women's Alliance, a member of the Study Club, served on the advisory committee of Meadville City Hospital and had been a member of the board of directors of the Y.W.C.A.
Surviving are sister, Mrs. Sarah E. Douglas of Portland, Ore., a sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Andrews of Meadville, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fleming Mortuary after 2 o'clock tonight. Funeral services will be held at the mortuary Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
