GEORGE B. ANDREWS, died at 2:15 yesterday morning at Spencer hospital as briefly noted in yesterday's daily messenger. Death resulted from typhoid fever. Deceased was a resident of Vernon township, and with four other relatives, fell sick of typhoid fever the latter part of August. The other relatives who were ill were his mother, Mrs. William Andrews; a brother, Silas Andrews; his daughter, Frances, and a sister, Miss Nancy Andrews. George was taken to Spencer hospital on Sept. 2, the day his mother died. Mr. Andrews was very ill for some time, but would have recovered from his attack of typhoid fever had not Bright's disease developed. Mr. Andrews was born in 1873 in Vernon township, and his entire life of 36 years was spent there. He was a fine young man, a member of the Watson Run Reformed church, and also of the State Police. His death is deeply regretted. The following brothers and sisters survive: Silas Andrews and Miss Nancy Andrews of Vernon township; Mrs. A. W. Douglas of Crookston, Minn.; Howard Andrews of Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. H. J. Dennis, of Conneaut Lake.
The body will be taken this morning from the rooms of Funeral Director W. E. Byham to the bereaved home. The funeral service will be held in the Watson Run Reformed church at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
