RUSSELLS POINT - Edward P. Coppler, 77, of 418 Center, died Friday at his home after an extended illness. He had been a resident of Russells Point approximately 18 years.
He was a retired employe of the Ohio Power Co.
Born Feb. 17, 1886, in Salem, he is survived by his wife, Margaret Catherine.
Also surviving are a son, Chris Edward Coppler at home; two brothers, Harry Coppler of 403 E. Eighteenth and John Coppler of Erie, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Rosie Nichols, Wapakoneta; Mrs. Harry (Sarah) Nichols of Alger; Mrs. Elwood (Celeste) Curl of Kenton, and Mrs. Gurney (Rachel) Sanders of Harrod.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Chiles and Son-Laman Chapel, with Rev. Joe Wireman officiating. Burial will be in East Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
