Rosa Belle Nichols, 70, of Rt. 5, Lima, a retired Memorial Hospital aide, died at 2 p.m. Monday there following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 4, 1902, in Wyandot County, she was the daughter of Andrew and Anna Burg Copler. Her husband, Royal, died in 1957.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John (Anna) Whitaker of Cridersville, Francis Nichols of Rt. 5, Lima and Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Sharpless of Kansas; two sons, Robert of McGuffey and Larry of San Antonio, Tex.; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Sarah) Nichols of Alger and Mrs. Elwood (Celeste) Curl of Kenton and Mrs. Gurney (Rachel) Sanders of Harrod, and a brother, Harry of 18th Street, Lima.

Mrs. Nichols was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God south of Alger.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the church, Rev. George Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Hanson Funeral Home, Alger. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
