KENTON - Services for Celestia M. Curl, 71, formerly of West Newton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hanson Funeral Home, Alger. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, near Westminster.
Mrs. Curl was dead on arrival at 6:52 a.m. Wednesday at Hardin Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born Aug. 1, 1905, in Oceola, she was a daughter of Andrew and Hannah Burg Coppler. She married Elwood Curl on Oct. 13, 1921, and he survives.
Other survivors include a son, Jack C. of here; a daughter, Mrs. Thurman (Rosalie) Goble of Rt. 5; seven grandchildren; a brother, Harry Coppler of Lima; and two sisters, Sarah Nichols of Rt. 1, Alger and Rachel Sanders of Rt. 1, Harrod.
She attended the Kenton Nazarene Church.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rev. George Hurt will officiate at services.
