Final Rites Monday
Funeral services for Kitty May Whitaker, 75, who died Friday in a Fairview, OK hospital following a long illness, services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Fairview Christian Church with Rev. Phil Fenn and Fred Jordan officiating. Interment was in the Orion Cemetery (Vy note, she is actually in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview). Services were under the direction of the Fairview Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whitaker was born in Walker, MO, and had lived in Oklahoma since she was 11 years old.
She is survived by a daughter, Audrey Cluster, Great Bend, KS, a son, Lawrence of Wilcox, AZ, three brothers, Minor Vance Cunningham, Gardena, CA, Richard Price Cunningham, Denver, CO, and Lewis Paul Cunningham of Fairview; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

May is located in a lot close to the fence, next to the road, Her daughter, Audrey, told me (Vy) the lot was selected so "May (mom) could watch the traffic".
May she rest in peace.
