John Parsons Cunningham 1898 to 1952
Funeral services were held April 23, 1952 for John P. Cunningham, born near Walker Vernon County, MO Nov. 2, 1898. He died instantly in a car wreck near Casper, WY, early Sunday morning April 20, 1952.
John spent most of his boyhood days near Sherman, OK. In 1926 he moved to Casper, WY and has been an employee of the Sinclair Oil Company for 27 years.
He leave to mourn his loss his father and mother, Price and Ida Cunningham of Cleo Springs, OK; one sister May Whitaker of Fairview, OK; three brothers Vance Cunningham, LA, CA; Richard Cunningham, Denver, Co, Paul Cunningham of Fairview, OK; five nieces and three nephews and many friends in Wyoming and Oklahoma.
Vy Note: he married Reva Vivian Hodges in Jun 1936, but she is not mentioned in his Obit, in 1940 census she is enumerated with her parents in Denver, CO. as Housekeeper; She is buried next to Sam Lenhart in Crown Hill Cemetery, in Wheatridge, CO.
