Lewis Paul Cunningham, 63, of Fairview, OK, died Jan 14 1982 in a Fairview hospital.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Jan 18 in the Central Christian Church at Fairview with the Revs. Rollin Hole and John Lawler officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Cunningham was born Nov. 4, 1918 in Platteville, CO to Sterling Price and Ida May Lefforge-Cunningham. He married Madaline Ruth Schuchman Dec. 18 1948 in Fairview.
Cunningham had moved to Sherman, OK in 1926 and then to the Cleo Springs area in 1931. Except for the war years, he had lived in the Fairview area since 1941. He was a veteran of World War II and a salesman for Waldon's for 18 years. He was also a member of the Central Christian Church at Fairview and the American Legion King Hagen Post No. 51.
Survivors include his wife, Madaline Ruth; one brother Richard P. Cunningham of Lakewood, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
