Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Nadine Beckett, 42 years old, of the Scotland community, who died Thursday, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Steve Parker chapel. The Rev. Allen Keller will officiate. Burial will be in Sterling cemetery. The body will be in state at the home until the funeral hour. Active pallbearers will be Willie Hodges, William Pendleton, Troy Turner, Lawrence Baker, Lloyd Brock and Carl Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Lola Southard, Mrs. Juanita Smith, Mrs. Helen Baker, Mrs. Mayme White, Mrs. Grace Pendleton and Doris Brock.

Brief burial services for Mrs. Mary Nadine Beckett, 42 years old, who died Thursday, September 17, will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Steve Parker chapel with the Rev. Allen Keller officiating. Burial will be in Sterling cemetery at Duenweg.
The services are being conducted for the benefit of a son, Murl Wayne Beckett, who was serving on a destroyer in Japanese waters at the time of his mother's death. Young Beckett arrived in Joplin Sunday to attend his mother's burial.
