Funeral services for Arthur H. Endicott, 37 years old, of the Scotland community on Carthage route 4, who was pronounced dead on arrival at 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at McCune-Brooks hospital in Carthage, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Steve Parker mortuary chapel. The Rev. John Fisher of Sarcoxie will officiate. Burial will be in Sterling cemetery, near Atlas.
Pallbearers will be George Kesler, Robert Evans, Willie Hedges, Sherman Bartlett, Leo White and Eugene Smith.
Mr. Endicott suffered a heart attack Sunday afternoon while working in the yard of his home.
Mr. Endicott, an employee of Atlas Powder Company for 18 years, had worked Saturday.
He was born July 18, 1920, in Joplin and had lived in this area all his life. He was a member of Faith Lutheran church of Carthage and a Worl War II veteran.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mildred Endicott, and four sons, Jerry, Ronnie, Freddie and Billy, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Hulda Endicott of Carthage route 4, and two sisters, Mrs. Louis Jarvis of Duenweg and Mrs. Ada Salsman of Diamond.
