Flora A. Riney was born December 11, 1849, near St. Patrick, and died November 9 1927, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maud Henderson near Ewing. She was married to J. W. Glisan, December 25, 1878, and to this union were born seven children; four of these children with the husband preceded her in death. One son, J. W. Glisan, two daughters, Mrs. Maud Henderson of Ewing, and Mrs. Linnie Bevans of Williamstown; also fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, one half-sister, Mrs. Tot Brennen of Canton, and a host of relatives and friends are left to mourn the departure of a good woman. Mrs. Glisan was a great sufferer for several months and was in the hospital at Canton this summer for a severe operation. A loving mother and grandmother has gone to reap her reward. Rev. Eisenberg of Monticello conducted the funeral services, and burial was at Zion Hill. Floral offerings were many and beautiful.

Funeral services were held at Zion Hill cemetery.
